Research & partnership working

We are partnering up with the NHS to research the lived experiences of Deaf People using healthcare services. All with an eye to addressing Deaf inequalities in the NHS and building bright and healthy futures for all. Click here to find out more. We work in collaboration with the universities of Leeds and Birmingham, University College London (DCAL), the National Deaf Children's Society and the British Deaf Association. Our practice is research based, evidence led.

Central to the programme is an understanding of the establishment of language fluency and effective communication as a basis for cognitive, social and emotional development. ...maximising engagement with curriculum must be the educational priority
