Enterprising education
All young people are offered work experience opportunities. Each young person creates a list of workplaces and occupations they would like to experience. Placements are available from a range of local and national business partners, we provide bite-size Deaf Awareness sessions to all placement providers..
Opportunities are enhanced through a range of motivational and inspiring visiting professionals from a varied occupations including Derby University (interview skills), the Police Liaison Officer with Deaf people (PLOD). Post 16 learners can choose from a range of vocational and non-vocational options and take their first steps on their career path.
